In Nyborg, there are plenty of space to meet for outdoor activities by the forest and beach. The great location on Eastern Funen means that there are more than 40 kilometers of coastline right next to the Great Belt.

The "biodiversity-goats" are responsible gardeners at Magelund Voldsted
Magelund Voldsted is located beautifully and untouched between Ørbæk and Ryslinge. The forms of the area stems from medieval times, and is today a protected nature area. The area contains a particularly high biodiversity as it has been uncultivated for centuries. Since 2021, the area has been taken care of by a group grazing goats - the "biodiversity-goats".

The cows act as "nature's caretakers" at Bondemosen
The biggest asset for outdoor life in Ullerslev is Bondemosen, which is a green area located in the middle of town. Parts of the area is owned by the municipality. Cattles graze around the area in the summer months. The animals ensure that the characteristic plants on the meadow are maintained by keeping it open to light. Therefore, these cattles are considered "nature's caretakers".

Biodiversitetsgederne hjælper til at holde invasive arter nede, og er derfor med til at styrke biodiversiteten i naturområdet.

Det største aktiv for friluftsliv i Ullerslev er Bondemosen, der er et grønt område midt i byen. En del af arealet er kommunalt ejet.
